Air Quality

Brazeau County understands their outdoor air quality is a community priority. As such, Brazeau County has been a West Central Airshed Society (WCAS) member since before 2015 and is the longest continuous Municipal Member. WCAS monitors air quality in Brazeau County at the Breton Station, established in 2004, and the Drayton Valley Station, established in 2006. The Drayton Valley Station also provides data for the area's Air Quality Health Index (AQHI). Visit WCAS for the AQHI and near-real-time hourly readings from these stations
